Robert Watson - Avery Outdoors Pro Staff
|
| |
| Robert Watson's first memory of waterfowl hunting was sitting in a cold pit
with his father on Maryland's Eastern Shore. A winter snow was falling as the
two of them watched migrating Canada Geese descend on their rig out of the
morning sky. Though he was only six years-old, he was immediately captured by
lure of the hunt. |
| |
| In 1994 Robert chose to serve our country and joined the United States Marine
Corps. Being a military man, the attendant changes of duty stations made
fulfilling his passion for hunting difficult at times. However, like a Marine,
he was able to "improvise and overcome" and managed to find the time to chase
teal in the cypress swamps or migrating geese in the fields. During Robert's
career in the Marines he was fortunate to accomplish many great things and he
is proud of his time spent in the service of our country. He was a member of
the Company rifle and pistol teams and a member of the Marine Corps Skeet Team
where he won several honors.

| In the off season you will find Robert carving decoys or working the dog to
keep him in shape. Robert is blessed to have a wonderful wife Lynndayle and son
Austin who both share his love of the outdoors. They are also blessed with a
beautiful daughter; Rachel who Robert is sure will follow in her fathers
footsteps and love the outdoors as well. |
| |
| Robert resides in Kentucky with his wife and children, where he works as a
representative for Lacrosse footwear as well as serving on the Pro-Staff for
Avery Outdoors and Buck Gardner Calls. Robert brings a wealth of waterfowl
knowledge to Locked Wings & Labs and is an asset to our operation! |
