Hunter Johnson was born in the heart of duck country. The son of an Arkansas Game Warden, Hunter was introduced to the sport of hunting and fishing at an early age. Since his first trip to the flooded timber of Arkansas' Cache River bottoms at age 8, Hunter has been drawn to the sounds of duck chatter. Hunter eventually migrated a few hours north to the rich duck country of Southeast Missouri where he settled in, started a family, and began focusing on the dream of a duck hunting career.
That dream finally became a reality when Hunter teamed up with a predominate rice farmer from Southeast Missouri, and together they started a duck club called MoDucks. Immediately MoDucks was a huge success, and when the need to expand into a fully guided hunting operation presented itself Locked Wings & Labs LLC was born.
Today, Hunter resides back in his hometown of Searcy, Arkansas with his son Jesse, his wife Dana and stepson Devon. Besides migrating back to Southeast Missouri each fall to manage Locked Wings & Labs, Hunter spends most of the 'off season" guiding fishing trips and making duck calls for Gumbo Calls......... a company he co-owns. He also likes to make an annual trip to hunt ducks and geese on the prairies of Canada, and spends each spring chasing turkeys in the Ozarks of Missouri and the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee.

Josh was born and raised in southern Minnesota, an area rich in Canada Goose hunting. His father first took him hunting at the tender age of 7 and he’s been hooked ever since. Canadians, although mildly attractive took a back seat when Josh participated in his first prairie pothole duck hunt. The first sight of banking mallards has had him chuckling at them ever since, following the migration from Canada to Missouri.
In the off season, Josh makes duck calls at DRC Call Co. and is Co-Owners of Wild Wear Apparel LLC. He competes in calling competitions and has done well with 15 plus championships, and accolades that include 2 State Duck Calling titles and a couple top ten finishes in the World Live Duck calling contest. His passion and experience with waterfowl and guiding, will leave your hunt nothing short of memorable.

Nick is an Iowa native from the town of Webster City. As a youngster growing up in a small town in northern Iowa, there wasn't much to do except hunt and fish, as a matter of fact it was more like a way of life! As Nick got a little older, the rabbits, squirrels and other little critters had to take the back seat to his new passion.......Waterfowl! These days Nick spends the "off season" working as a carpenter, traveling to calling contests or kicked back "bank pole n'" on the Des Moines river, but as the days start getting shorter and the temps start cooling down, Nick starts getting the itch to follow the migration......As the ducks arrive at Locked Wings & Labs, so does Nick! And we are glad to have him! Nick is an awesome duck caller and a laid back, easy goin guy with an awesome sense of humor......and he is all about ducks!

Jesse, the son of LW&L owner Hunter Johnson was born and raised in Southeast Missouri doing everything from working on the farm in the summer to working greenheads in the late fall. At the green age of 6 Jesse went on his first duck hunt and has been hooked ever since. Wether its hunting the Missouri delta or Arkansas green timber I gaurentee that Jesse will know where the ducks are at, or be burning the back roads looking for the next days honey hole. Along with scouting Jesse contributes to the camp life with his great sense of humor and personality.
Aside from waterfowl hunting Jesse is currently a Senior at Riverview High School. He is a All-Conference pitcher for the Riverview Raiders and looks to attend college and play baseball in the spring, majoring in criminology.
